Ten years ago, I was onboard my solo ocean rowing boat, “Blossom”. Having set off from Japan, I was making good headway across the North Pacific Ocean towards the USA. After a short time at sea, I recorded a message for Her Majesty The Queen, which I believe made national news. It’s now 2022 and it’s Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee year, I am as proud then as I am now of our Queen. My words from 2012 are as relevant then as they are now.
